The library is an integral part of the institution — a place that supports learning and the advancement of knowledge in a safe and comfortable environment. The Central Library acquires, organises and makes available knowledge resources for students and faculty.
The collection is primarily related to dentistry and has grown steadily over the years. The library offers circulation, reference, a reading hall, an e-library and internet access, and runs on integrated library management software for its housekeeping operations.
The STES campuses provide hostel facilities. Rooms are furnished, accommodate up to three students each and have an attached bathroom. A separate wing for foreign students is available in two of the hostels, along with facilities for cooking and washing.
Clean, hygienic food is served at subsidised rates in the hostel mess, with a separate mess for girls and a separate non-vegetarian mess on campus. Canteens and fast-food outlets serve snacks and refreshments. Separate residential blocks house heads of institutions, faculty and supporting staff, which reduces commuting time and helps faculty focus on teaching.
Sports and extracurricular activities are central to student development. Both outdoor and indoor sports facilities are available on campus, including a full-sized cricket ground built to international standards, tennis courts and a well-maintained swimming pool. Sports meets and tournaments are held every year.
Cultural activities bring together a student population drawn from across India. The Sinhgad Cultural Centre nurtures creative talent through music, drama, dance and other events held throughout the year, culminating in the annual Sinhgad Karandak. The centre has also hosted noted artists over the years.
Banking. An extension counter of the Central Bank of India operates on campus, with ATMs of Central Bank of India and ICICI Bank available for student transactions.
Campus clinic. A clinic for routine medical services with qualified staff is available on campus, with hospital support for medical emergencies.
Shops. Stationery and other essentials are available on campus, along with laundry and photocopying services.
Accessibility & transport. The campus is within Pune Municipal Transport limits, with buses serving major points and the railway station, plus auto-rickshaws.
Security. Round-the-clock security is maintained on campus.
